While I was out on my bike sunday, the Harvey Milk film wrapped up it's location filming with a re-enactment of the 1978 Gay Freedom Day Parade. I wish I could have been there, but I'm glad I had a chance to be an extra last month.

Four years ago Mayor Newsom ordered the City to allow any couple, gay or straight to marry. For a few weeks there was magic in the air and San Francisco celebrated the institution of marriage until an end to it was ordered by the state. The case has worked its way to the California Supreme Court and there's a very good chance they will rule in favor of equality.

After four months of using Leopard and I hadn't even noticed the keyboard selection had changed. I hadn't noticed because unanchored selection is so unforgiving I just used the mouse instead. Thank you for the fix Apple.

My mom sent my this link to a database of shortcuts you can use to bypass the phone-tree systems of major companies and reach a real human operator. It's similar to the username and password sharing service Bug Me Not where the database grows and improves by us users making additions and corrections.
