SF Home Depot is a no go (SF Gate)

Sign Up Forms Must Die (A List Apart)

There are a lot of great services on the internet, unfortunately there are a lot which first make you go through a sign up form and verify your e-mail address (so they know they have a real email address to spam) before you can even try out their product.
California Supreme Court hears Gay marriage case tuesday (AP)

Four years ago Mayor Newsom ordered the City to allow any couple, gay or straight to marry. For a few weeks there was magic in the air and San Francisco celebrated the institution of marriage until an end to it was ordered by the state.

Thanks to Simon for introducing me to the Zero Punctuation game reviews. The animated reviews are full of offensive jokes and comments that made me laugh so hard I cried.

Anchored Selection in Mac OS X Leopard (Daring Fireball)

After four months of using Leopard and I hadn't even noticed the keyboard selection had changed. I hadn't noticed because unanchored selection is so unforgiving I just used the mouse instead. Thank you for the fix Apple.

My mom sent my this link to a database of shortcuts you can use to bypass the phone-tree systems of major companies and reach a real human operator. It's similar to the username and password sharing service Bug Me Not where the database grows and improves by us users making additions and corrections.
