In the excitement and celebration I completely forgot to make a very important post: I made it to LA!
All 3,000 or so of us riders and roadies arrived in Los Angeles saturday afternoon for the closing ceremonies and having taken Day 6 off to rest and cope with the bronchitis I was able to ride the last 61.5 miles from Ventura to Los Angeles. I was so excited that I probably wouldn’t have noticed if I was bleeding and hadn’t gotten there early enough I spent the next two hours cheering on the other riders as they arrived.
