A replacement copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for the one lost in shipping arrived on Friday. Nearly a full week after the release and while I wasn't there to receive it the day of release, I was still hoping to have it by monday or tuesday.

In the meantime I broke down and bought a copy at a local bookstore so I could start reading it, which is what I should have just done in the first place instead of ordering it online.

Of course this never would have been happened to begin with had it been sent by owl rather than by the muggles at UPS.
