This entry is only going to be of interest to San Franciscan's. We're surrounded by tech companies with nearly everything available online and Muni riders have been asking for ages for online ticket sales.
Well, now you can through the Convention and Visitors Bureau web site. The dates of availability seem a little to complicated and strict, but being purchasable online at all is a step up.

I'm going to guess the SFMTA is just going to wait for Translink to happen (its only been a decade now right?) Some people have jumped on BART's for doing as a waste when Translink is on the way.

Why can't they set it up so that you give them your payment information and you can automatically get a pass mailed to you every month? THAT would be awesome. I hate waiting in the lines the end of every month in the Montgomery Station, and I have one of those company benefit credit cards to pay for transit that can only be used in the stations.
