Sudoku

For probably a year now, I've been hearing about sudoku "wordless crossword puzzles" on the the sunday morning puzzle segment of Weekend Edition. I'd pretty much tuned out that plug for the sudoku books until about a month ago when I actually saw one being worked out by a woman standing beside me on Muni Metro one morning.
Over the weekend I googled sudoku and found a sudoku mac game. I'm hooked now.

Sudoku is more addictive than crack, weed and Tina put together. Not that I know the addictive properties of the above drugs...

The comment photos come from Gravatar, a free service which lets you upload a photo then grabs your photo (it matches your email address, which is encrypted) whenever you comment at a site (like mine) which has the plug-in installed.

Sudoku is great for airplanes and commuting in general. I was reading Star magazine on a long flight recently, and they had 3 of them on the inside cover. It fended off boredom better than Celebrity Style Trainwrecks. No lie! Sudoku is superb.
